Usability Testing – Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Work
The scope of services, deliverables, and timeline will be outlined in the approved quote and project brief. Any additions or changes outside of scope may require a revised quote and timeline.
2. Deliverables
Dlyte will provide the deliverables specified in the project documentation (e.g., reports, recordings, insights). These deliverables are based on the agreed test scenarios, participant sample, and client-provided assets such as prototypes or staging environments.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
-
Provide access to required assets (e.g., staging environments, prototypes) before testing.
-
Approve the project and issue a purchase order before work commences.
-
Respond to key project milestones (e.g., asset reviews, clarification requests) within 48 hours to avoid delays.
4. Timeline Commitments
All timelines are estimated based on asset readiness and approval. Delays in prototype delivery, participant recruitment, or feedback from the client may shift the final delivery date. Dlyte is not liable for delays caused by external dependencies.
5. Participant Recruitment
Unless otherwise specified, participant recruitment and incentives are managed through Askable. Dlyte is not liable for any recruitment delays or mismatches arising from third-party vendors.
6. Confidentiality
Dlyte agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all client materials and will not share or disclose any proprietary information. All test recordings and insights will be anonymised unless explicit permission is given by participants.
7. Intellectual Property
The client owns all final deliverables. Raw testing data (recordings, transcripts) may be stored by Dlyte for quality assurance but will not be reused without written permission.
8. Cancellation & Rescheduling
If the project is cancelled by the client after work has commenced, partial fees may still apply for effort incurred. Rescheduling participant sessions with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur additional fees.
9. Limitation of Liability
Dlyte is not responsible for decisions made based on research insights or recommendations. While best practices are applied, Dlyte does not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. increased conversion rates).
