Accessibility & Inclusive Participation
Our commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible platform for everyone
Dlyte is committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and accessible testing platform for everyone. Our goal is to ensure that all people — including those with disability, access needs, or assistive technology requirements — can participate fully as testers or clients.
Our Commitment
Dlyte is built on accessibility and inclusivity principles from day one. We follow the practices outlined in our internal Dlyte Accessibility & Inclusivity Guidelines, which include voluntary participation, transparent data use, respectful language, and secure handling of access-related information.
We comply with WCAG 2.2 AA, the Australian Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), the Australian Government Digital Service Standard, and global accessibility frameworks.
How Dlyte Supports Accessible Participation
1. Optional Access Information
Participants may share access needs or functional requirements to help match them with accessibility-focused studies. This is always optional.
2. Respectful Language
All questions and interactions use non-medical, non-deficit, human-first language.
3. Minimal Data Collection
We only collect what is needed for matching. No diagnoses or medical history is requested.
4. Full Participant Control
Participants can update or remove access information at any time.
5. No Discrimination
Dlyte does not exclude or deprioritise anyone based on disability or access needs.
6. Secure Handling of Personal Information
All access information is encrypted, minimised, and handled under the Australian Privacy Principles.
Platform Accessibility
Dlyte supports screen readers, keyboard navigation, high contrast, voice input, zooming, and cognitive accessibility features. Tasks are designed to minimise cognitive load.
Inclusive Co-Design
Dlyte is shaped with ongoing input from people with disability and lived experience. Accessibility reviews occur with every major release.
Feedback & Contact
We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Continuous Improvement
Dlyte features undergo accessibility review and testing to ensure ongoing WCAG 2.2 AA alignment.
This statement will be updated as the platform evolves.
